I've seen that a few times as well. Just one of many words that people don't seem to ever get right. I understand if English isn't your first
language, but many of the people making these mistakes are from English speaking countries and should know better. The their/there/they're drives me
crazy too. Same with the too/to that some seem to confuse, but at least people on these forums generally refrian from talking in l33t. I'll just
leave if that ever starts happening!
Yeah, I hear ya. It does annoy me to some point, but what really annoys me is the people who don't try at all. Most can be found in the Paranormal
section of the board. (I'm sorry, but it's true). "i thnk their is a gost in my hose nd da ottha day i wuz waking nd i hear' tis sound so i lok
behind me den tis thin i think wuz behind window but it ran pased me so i jumped know i heer voices i think they choose me or, somthing." It takes
ten minutes to read the post and then it usually doesn't make any sense schizophrenia. But yeah, those words are kinda bothersome.
My keyboard is weird, and sometimes it won't type out two letters in a row when I hit them to fast. Drives me nuts.. Like "Hillary". I'll have
to constantly go back and check to make sure I didn't leave out that L. It's so anoying!
(I was going to rant about niche - "It's pronounced NEESH, dammit, NEESH! Not NITCH!"- but I think I'd get lynched on a board where most
members are American... )
Dr Strangecraft..you are quite, quite wonderful.. "lmao" Tze Dung is the funniest thing I've read all morning.
I think that this occurs becase noone pays attention in their English class. They think "Why should I learn English? I already speak it don't I?"
Noone is really aware of this problem.
