New member from Massachusetts

Hi everyone. I've known about this site for a little while and thought I'd finally join. I live in Massachusetts (sorry - not my fault didn't do it was like that when I got here). I've been interested in alternate explanations for things since the 1990s... enjoy talk shows such as Steve Quayle, Alex Jones, Power Hour and C2C. I think I first heard of this web site from Al Cuppett on Steve Quayle's show but I'm not 100% certain.

Ancient civilizations (the ones the historians don't want you to know about) are especially interesting to me.

Various non-conspiracy interests include: hiking, amateur astronomy, guns, bird watching (just watching, no shooting!), prepping, roller blading, and other assorted outdoor activities. Oh, and I have a fascination with everything Asian.

Yep! I grew up down that way, was down there just yesterday too trying to cool off at the beach. It worked; WOW that was was unusually cold for mid August!

This is embarassing because I'm not normally one to ask "how do I do this" questions, but... I just linked my avatar to an external Geocities web site (which is mine). Is it possible to put the image on ATS itself and link to it? I see some people's avatars do this but they appear to be staff -- is this a staff-only feature? I did some looking around and haven't found an "uploads" area yet.

Just wondering because if my avatar gets enough hits, eventually I think Geocities will disable my image, then the rest of you will no longer be fortunate enough to see my adorable kitten.
