I came across this
article on CommonDreams.org. Yes, this is obviously a left leaning web
site, but it really has no impact on my question.
At the bottom of the article the author states "the textbook debate now being fought in Odessa, Texas over a book that will now be used in the
classroom in that city. The book reportedly includes a statement that NASA scientists are now able to prove that somehow two days of time has gone
missing since earth was created thus proving that the bible was speaking literally when it made reference to the sun standing still."
I tried to find information on this "proof" but couldn't. I found what book they'd be using, but nothing on this NASA thing.
Can anyone perhaps summarize this "proof" either on this thread or perhaps provide a few links to the evidence for this argument?
Until I read this article, I hadn't heard anything about "proof" from NASA that two days of time has gone missing since the earth was created.
So, any help here would be appreciated since I understand that argument for teaching ID in schools, but hadn't, until now, seen it attached to
something that seems a bit far fetched to me.
Thanks in advance...
