A few years ago I went on the low-carb diet and McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese sandwiches (with the bun removed) became a lunch staple. The diet was very successful and I lost like 50 lbs.

Lost 50 lbs doing a lower-carb thing (which was basically: only whole grains allowed, plus veggies and a bit of fruit; plus meats and "good" fats/dairy), which included the odd "no bun please" burger (sans fries, of course).

It's that processed white flour that'll getcha everytime!

(no, seriously. Processed sugar and white flour are probably the worst things you can eat. Ever.)
