Pen Guns! I have a friend who demonstrated this "toy"by firing his pen gun up in the air. It can actually kill and can be used as a concealed weapon.

The M1918 is still a cool trench knife today. British Commandos in WW2 had stuff like that

I love strange weapons. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths of the human imagination. I recently wrote about the Hwacha, a 15th century Korean weapon that fires 200 fire arrows.I've also written about Project Habakkuk: an ship made of pykcrete and ice during WWII. Also the apache pistol is a good one.
