I had an idea for this points thing that i think could be pretty fun.

For a high price, members would be able to buy stock in a forum. Depending on the amount of posting in that certain forum, it would cut the members' losses/earnings. Maybe the results could be posted in a weekly or bi-weekly report?

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Nah I dunno someone suggested already bets and I dont want ATS to become an online gambling casino....keep that in mind

Did i say anything about betting? I'm keeping in mind that the point of this points thing is content and fun.

Fury, LOL. I just think this would be a way that people who have an affinity for a certain thread could make sure that they contribute quality to said thread.

Hmmmm......I think this is a good idea, but how long would it take.........I think it would be longer than the Admins can spare, but perhaps they will consider it sometime....

I'm looking at a way that would allow members to speculate points against the movement of the forum mood meter... both short-term, and long term.

but, if it goes smoothly, is there a possibiltiy we'll see Goregrinders "forum stocks" idea implemented in the future?

Which means, the serious chartists amongst ATS investors already know some of the unique kinks that will be seen in Mood Meter cycle.

No doubt 90% of intelligent members of the board have already plotted the course of the Mood Meter since its implementation, at hourly intervals, to derive the same results!!

william - it would be cool to speculate against haarp output combined with the stock market flucutations. I may eventually implement something to do this, actually. (I'll bother you if i do.)
