Are you insinuating that the Bible is fictional?
I think the entire NT is pretty good historical fiction. In other words, a lot of the names and places and a few of the major events are true but,
after that, it's mostly a retelling of some legends with quite a bit of embellishment. Can I prove it? Not as well are many other scholars who have
worked most of their lives in this area. There are Christian scholars whose work has shown that a good bit of these stories didn't happen quite the
way they are laid out in the Gospels but that does not shake their basic belief. Then, there are non-Christian scholars who have been less kind.
Bear in mind that none of these scholars and researchers are trying to attack the Christian faiths - they are simply trying to reach historical
accuracy with sincere research that reaches far beyond what is written in the bible.
You do know that there are books other than the bible, right?
