It could work, depending on many things. The magnetic waves could not be strong enough to be detected by the thing, but like he said, it would be a lot more useful to build a more advanced one that is more sensitive. It would make a good science project though, to think, first prize at the local science fair....

Well, at least it detects changes in magnetic fields....

Same layout I think but with pictures for construction. Not sure if the first plans were all that difficult, but hey, thought I'd put in my 2cents.
