I'd read about it here, but hadn't seen it on the evening news until tonight.

Man, that's alot of people. Alot. It was a traffic jam in Crawford on the way to the "Peace House."

But of course most of the story focused on the minority: Residents of Crawford angry at the protest, 100% in support of our Pres-e-dent and the I-Rock war.

RANT, there was "alot" of people because there was also a pro-Bush, pro-war rally [ie: support the troops with over 250+ people] held right across the lane/street from where Mrs. Sheehan and her crowd of supporters and mainstream media were.

From Truthout:

Thursday:
The official count for today's gathering was 705, not counting press.

Saturday:
1,000 spirited supporters rallied with Cindy at Camp Casey.

From Saturday's Waco Tribune:

CRAWFORD – More than 100 supporters of President Bush traveled to Crawford Friday to stage a counter protest as anti-war activists continued their vigil near the Western White House.

I'm pretty sure the 'lots' were mostly protesters for now. But who knows what the future holds?
