This is interesting. The chip kind of looks like a surface mount capacitor, but not exactly.
SMT caps can be very small, used in high frequency electronics.
They are usually made out of ceramic and very brittle. They can break off a printed circuit board leaving the silver (solder) ends behind. Usually a
printed circuit board would have several along with a variety of other components.
I would use a magnifying glass and look to see if the ends look like it broke off, or if it is cut perfectly square.
If they are capacitors, how are they getting inside her?
