Ok, if you made a post less than 60 seconds ago, it will keep you from posting again. But, you can't hit the back button, to highlight/copy, try the
post again, it's just gone... I type and read pretty damned fast...and often, these posts could be a paragraph or more in less than 60 seconds...and
then poof, it's just gone, hehe... So often, rather than type it all out again (as it never comes out the way I originally wrote it), I simply
don't bother with the reply at all...

If people could post whenever they want wouldn't this board be flooded and DOS attack would inadvertedly occur? 60 sec wait keeps things orderly.

I'm not saying for all...make it a point paid option... We are talking computer speed here... I'd pay points to have it go from 60 to 30, or less.
Sure, 60 seconds sounds real quick, but count it out....then see if you feel it is really that quick after all...

I don't think it's a bad suggestion.
I would make it damn expensive for Gazrok, or else his proportion of total posts will expand to 10% of the whole ATS motherlode in a day, at his
phenomenal posting rate - thereby increasing his net worth! What a devious scheme.
I have a private pique to bring up here for the hell of it as well, being that it is about what happens when you post.
My ATS point count has been stuck on 15,303 for almost 20 posts, no matter where I post. Also, I obnly got 250 points of a 500 point correction a day
ago. I watched it happen from one post to the next the read why afterwards. Do ya reckon someone is trying to tell me something? Is there a cap on
points for posting per day, week or month, or something?????

There's not much to buy at the moment. The points system is just addictive.
I don't think I've posted this much in one day since I registered.

How expensive? 1000?, 2000?, 5000?, 10000? Whatever....
Actually, I don't think my points have budged after several postings....still on 19207....not that it matters, but if it helps point to a bug...

I have consulted a couple of members who deal in such things.
They believe your reserve is too high.

Thats a good idea. I've had that happen to me a couple of times in the past that I have to re-write a post because of that 60 sec rule.

MA,
Ouch!
In my soul's defence it is in prestine condition and has no leans on it at this moment. I might consider best offers, but for now my reserve stands.
I may also consider other forms of payment like cash.

Ever see the Simpsons episode where Bart sold his soul to Milhouse? Animals growled at him, automatic doors didn't work for him...man, I don't know
about all that...

yeah I run into this a lot too. It really would be nice if I didn't have to retype my post simply beacuse I got it done too fast.

Maybe 100 points could turn off the sixty second filter for sixty seconds.
