But for the banks to allow them to achieve loans for housing when they arent even citizens just reeks of double-talk from the government.

The problem is, it's not that simple. People have got to understand that "non citizen" does not automatically imply "illegally here".

I'm not a citizen; I'm just a resident. One who pays taxes and the other various contributions required by law.

But I have credit cards, my name was on the mortgage, and I had a loan on my old vehicle.

All I ask is that we try and disgard the perception that "non citizen" = "illegal".

Cos it just ain't that way.
