Terrorists wont get what they want...

Topic started on 28-8-2003 @ 03:13 AM by Nans DESMICHELS

A german special af arameans languages issue a book called : "A new interpretation of the Quran".

For the well-know passage about the "present" gived to the terrorist, Mr LUXEMBERG (A pseudonym) says that the Quran talk about " White and Pure grappe of grapewine" instead of "Black haired and black eyed virgins".

This will probably low the number of candidate to the Quran-heaven, no ? I hope... Anyway, it seem that finally, terrorists wont have what they want !

i dont mean to belittle anyones beliefs, but the view i've always held with religious matyrdom is:

"if God gave you life for nothing, you could interpret this as a gift. if you then throw you life away, it is like throwing the gift back at god."

i know that it could be argued that you are serving your Lord, but i just feel that if god created you to die and go to heaven, he would have just created you in heaven

as for these new interpretations i agree that the amount of candidaes just dropped by, er, 100%!

...It's a "deadly sin" . Some people think that they will get the paradise open because they suicide themselves and kill over people with them, but in fact they are suicidal and homicide sinners...

well obviously terrorism is like the crusades....religion is being twisted to fit the evil agenda of man/men who think everyone who doesnt follow their religion should be wiped off the earth.

this is why i dont like most religions, because this seems to be tolerated/excused on a certain level and its disgusting to see something which in theory is suppose to be the best for man turned into a vile thing used as a tool to kill others of opposing views or beliefs.

its basically religious intolerance. ive been a "victim" of this myself although admittedly ive not had someone try to kill me with a bomb strapped to their chest.

religion is suppose to bring out the best in people and it does a little but the worst is brought out as well and gets much more air time on the news networks.

Well i hate to say it but terrorists usually do get what they want if they dont they have to resort to killing people, that is not the main thing they want but to them it suffices.

Yes child. But have you ever heard an expression where things are of more value to us when we earned them?

I'm not sure, Drunk...

Imagine that :

They die, and then an angel in fury arrive and tell them that they have killed people and then, they must go to hell... What a deception !

i have heard that expression, but to me it just seems a little odd (the whole matyrdom thing) but as nans said its a deadly sin in some religions.

and do not forget many religions also say don't kill

still if thats the way it is and i am wrong, i'll hold my hands up and admit it
