Secrets In Iowa?

I was wondering if anyone else here lives near or in Iowa. I live in Cedar Rapids, and I have heard from two sources that in Palo, Iowa near the lake there are silo's, now in Palo their is a nuclear power plant there also. My father told me on the other side of the beach in the forest if that you go deep enough you will come to a fence that will say government installation. Can anyone bring this to life for me? I have been trying to find a few people to make a day out of going to Palo, and looking for this also, respond if you would like.
