Thiers much more to happieness and life than making money and holding a high paying job, alot more. Theres alot more than just my menial world, theres a greater picture. Unlike some people, just getting a nice job and getting myself into the enslavement of the new American dream aint enough to turn me sheeple and complacent.

Perhaps you need to get out of your cozy spot and wake the hell up. Your well being wont last forever, you know. At this rate, perhaps one day youll be in line at the soup kitchen.

Why would it be offensive to women members? Should it matter if you were male or female to find it offensive? It just means that you are a tightwad. Most college grads couldnt find thier ass if you put thier hand on it. College education is simply elitist and liberal indoctrination. A true intellectual educates himself and asks questions. College means nothing. it just means you can write pretty papers and impress some snooty elitist professor. Thats about it.

Really that is so is it? How about this maybe you go to college to become a specialist in whatever skill you possess. That would be why one would go to MIT or NC state because when they come out they will possess exceptionbly usefull technical skills and will be able to further their life with these skills. Writing papers is part of the process but the real reason for a college education is just that a education. But maybe you havent an idea what college is so you are totally ignorant of it, or you went to college and said "o # real work, # this".
....just a thought.....

Why do employers want college degrees, when the jibs the grads apply for, they require on the job training anyway? College degree for business management? There have been so many sucessful businesses started by NON grads. College graduate for media, when often the job is more about who you know that what your know?

There are very few jobs where the long, drawn out process of collge education is required. Those mare techincal skills. Doctors. Engineers, physics, atronomers, ect.

College for the rest teaches you nothing about how to perform many of the jobs out there. They require hands on experience and training, the best possible education of them all.

No, college does not make someone smarter. it does not make them anymore skillful.

I do not need to go to college for the skills I posses, those can be learned at tech school, or simply on the job training.

Requiring college education for jobs that do not need it is simply stupid. College does not better your life. just ask all the unemployed grads out there working as cashiers.

Emphasis should shift on simply OJT.
