Briliant demo, quite scary with over the top gore and bullet time.
What more can a FPS offer?

I played the demo at a friends house and I have but one word to say.
Awesome.
That about sums it up.
Fun guns
Enemies who do things I've never seen AI do before
Through in a judicous usage of bullet time and a smattering of gore and you've got a party.

I bought this game with my new video card.
Great game. Words cannot describe it. The AI is great for one. 2nd, its creepy and atmospheric. What more do you need?
I would recommend it to anyone with a good enough system to enjoy it.

I have finished it now, and I have to say, it was well done. I like the graphics. Very nice.
Without spoiling anything, all I have to say is the ending sequence is very cool.

It's definately as good as Max Payne maybe even a little better. AI was excellant, Voice Acting was only slightly annoying sometimes, Graphics are
excellant, Story seems rather forumulaic but well done up till Interval 7.

Playing through the game again on the easiest setting. Very fun, and better yet, I can take the time to actually soak up some of the graphics.
Here is a screenshot for you all.
All graphics settings maxed out.

Its a great game. Only up to the Armachem HQ with the invisible "spider-men" clones leaping at you, but so far it is quality.
Scary as hell too. Didn't like playing it when I was on my own in my house though.....
I do need a better card for it mind you. My Radeon 9600 is ok, but has no anti-aliasing, so the edges on things are a little bumpy. But all in all,
runs a dream and the amount of blood is just to my liking

Gave F.E.A.R mp a go the other day. I was vicously murdered in cold blood no less than 32 times before I gave up without a single kill.

I wish I had another puter so i could use it as a dedicated server

Hehe, I know practice makes perfect. I am a strategy gamer at heart (Civ, Rome etc etc ) and I am an FPS convert when I feel like a more faster paced
bit of brain splatterring.
I only suck at deathmatch type games though. Get me on Battlefield 2 and I will be much more "efficient" ..
Especially if I have my C4 at the ready...watch your out for your tanks gentleman, as I am the human behind the IED.....and I do not miss

I played the demo, and I did not enjoy it, it didn't look that great compared to Doom 3 or Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.
The weapons are blatant clones of real weapons (well some of them) just renamed to something more futuristic to match their futuristic look, some of
the guns were just weird, some guns fired a burst of what, 6 rounds? with a single mouse button? I believe it was the assault rifle.
In the beginning of the game they didn't make it completely clear that you are on your own, I thought the first enemies I encountered were my friends
UNTIL THEY STARTED SHOOTING, I was like WTF?! why are they shooting and ofcourse gunned them down.
IMO it's a decent game but with definite problems, I didn't scare me as much though, the AI was pretty good (very similar to Shogo which was also
made by Monolith).
But in all reality I enjoyed Doom 3 more, it scared me alot more frequently then FEAR did in the demo or in the retail version my brother has.

Doom 3 is dull and repetative! Walk down corridor, shoot imp, walk some more, shoot 2 more imps.
If you play F.E.A.R from the begining, you will find the story very ingorssing and the graphics are far better than Doom. The explosions alone shame
Doom.
And about the weapons, so what if they are clones of real weapons? It's set in the "present day", so they're not going around with BFG's or
anything.
The Penetrator is pretty futuristic though, an EMP weapon that fires what looks like a 8 inch steel dildo. Very funny to see replica soldiers pinned
to a wall by a dildo!

The Demo was allright, the Full Game is much much better and compared to Doom 3 runs silky smooth on my mid-range comp. The only games you can really
compare this with are the Max Payne games due to the gameplay, Doom is a far different beast(both literally and figuratively and that is not a
compliment)
Yeah this game kills Doom 3 in every respect even though it's not a fair comparision.

My connection is too slow for multiplayer at the moment
But if I could, I would take you all up on a game.
