Its being marketed as "AirScooter"

excerpt:

"Everything is controlled from the motorcycle-like handle bar.
Pull it forward and the two counter-rotating blades pivot forward.
Pull it back nd it goes back.
Norris said you won't need a pilot's license if you fly it under 400 feet
in non-restricted air space. And he's going to sell it for $50,000." USD

i'm afraid there wasn't any photo images available,
maybe because of patents or promo issues???

Great, that's all we need is a bunch of ricer racing punks getting access to the skies. Air rage. Fly-by shootings. And oh boy, if your air scooter has a problem... look out below. I've always thought having a sky car would be nice, but then you look at all the stubby designs with no glide capabilities and you have to wonder if it's a good idea.

Noise is going to be a huge issue with any of these machines if they ever catch on.
Any of the ones I've seen are just too noisy, and that factor alone will bug a lot of folks if these start filling the skies.

There are a million problems with these, just think about bad weather alone and all these inexperienced people. A fall from 30 feet will kill you. None of these are safe. You want to fly, go get a pilots license, and do it the right way. These ultra-ultralights are going to get real ultralight enthusiasts legislated to death.

I'd sure like one of them when I'm older!, but what if the engine quits on me?( i mean on the scooter shaped as a bike without the helicopter blades

It looks cool, wonder if it will work, it would take a lot of energy from the engine though...

A fall from 30 feet will kill you.

It also depends on how hard you land, someone fell from 6000 feet or something in a skydiving accident. A US paratruper fell from 1000 feet aswell in a accident. In both casses they survived!
