GI Joe Live Action Movie

I just saw the thread that announced the new Transformers movie coming out in July of 2007 and I thought it would be great if they brought out a GI Joe Live Action Movie too. So I thought I'd search a little and see if anything is in the works. It looks like Paramount is working on something. Not much is known, but I did find a couple of sites that have some info. Take a look at this picture. It looks like a couple of big stars are attached to it. From left to right, you can make out Viggo Mortenson (from LOTR), Monica Bellucci (from Passion of the Christ), and I think that's Jennifer Garner on the far right (from Alias).

I really hope this gets made!!!

This could be a serious cash cow. I'm definitely good with Viggo Mortenson. I would consider him a man's man. Add in Jennifer Garner and there's no doubt in my mind that this movie is going to get done.

On a side note, think about the impact a G.I. Joe movie would have on military recruitment. I bet it sounds like a stretch to some, but not to me.

I'd have to agree with ya. Look at what Top Gun did for the Air Force for that short while after that film came out.
