"Political Prisoner" jailed for storing gunpowder in Baltimore City

The outcome of this case may have implications for the second amendment. This is a poor, old man who is likely going to be sentenced to prison for the rest of his life. No chance of bail, either.

Interestingly enough, Mr. Wheeler has some thought crime occurring as well:

He said in the interviews that he believes the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building in 1995 and the Washington-area sniper attacks last year were orchestrated by undercover CIA operatives.

Wheeler said the attacks were to frighten Americans into giving authorities more power.

"The CIA is like a supernational police force for global bankers," he said. "They do all sorts of things. They will silence a person with a pistol shot or some poison. Some others they give a show trial. They did the same thing in Russia in the '30s and '40s. We're 95 percent into a dictatorship now."

He added that the "planet is run by a cabal of global bankers, and for centuries they have played the nations and races of the world against each other."

Well, most of new england is highly hostile to lawful gun owners...

Well laws can certainly be used for bad. It looks like they can only charge him for having unsecured gun powder. 60 pounds is a lot, though.

What seems "odd' is that the police officier has to portray Wheeler as anything. This hints the thought crime aspect. And it's obvious they'll attempt to try him as a terrorist, seeing his connection to the National Alliance and all. I would say its a bad day to have a lot of guns and be a white supremacist .
