I think I will just save up. Say, is there a ration on any of these???? If not, I may soon have the most points. I came here for the... ahem... atmosphere and intellectual conversation from peers with the same interests as my own. I think if anything, I may only buy more U2U space, as I enjoy my U2Us. But the rest seems to me to be something that is going to spawn a whole heap of illegitimate, ego-boosting (my shwartz is bigger than yours), noninforming posts from those who want more gimmicks added under their names.

If you can buy (with real money) points from people, doesn't it open up the possibility of 'professional' posters?

What would the effects of that on ATS be? If points ARE mostly added for quality posts... would it elevate ATS and make it more professional looking? Would it become more mercenarial?
