kawai pianos are a joke. people buy them for furniture, they sound like toys not instruments.

cannon in D by pachabell is probably the most beatiful song ever. you know, the one they play on the diamond commercials.

Well this is a tuff choice because there are some many beautiful songs out there.

I’ve decided to go for this one.

Jon and Vangelis - "I’ll find my way home"

Although these three came real close lol

John Denver - "Annies Song"

U2 – "With or without you"

Tracy Chapman – "At this point in my life"

Hi UK Wiz, I don't know if you actually listen to most of these since this list is getting so long, but this one goes down in the 'hauntingly beautiful" category - mandolin and acoustic guitar + richard buckners voice and lyrics make this a great one. Please please take a listen and let me know what you think
MUD by Richard Buckner
Becarful where you lie down boy
in this bed of roses
promises of petals then
you wake up on the other end...

Although, beauty is all relative, and I can't pick just one myself - I need to put one in.
"Peace on Earth (Do What You Can)" by The Fixx.
Hidden track on the Walkabout CD. Seeps in about 26sec. after final listed track "Camphor"
the only video i can find unfortunately only covers the first 1min of the tune. can't do it justice w/o the grand harmonies of the chorus, but it's a taste i suppose.

Lyrics:
There is only.... one chance for us all
And we must surely.... make sense of it all
Try to bring peace on earth
Not to bury your enemy
Try to bring peace on earth
Or we aren’t worth anything
Try to bring peace on earth
For piece of mind

There is only.... one time for us all
And we must surely.... stand to the call
No peace on earth and the blame lies at our feet
There’s no peace on earth, no virtue, I see only pride

Do what you can
When you see a wrong try to mend it
A little is a lot
Show them what it means to be human
Show them how it feels to care

There is only.... one chance for us all
And we must surely.... make sense of the call
An effort for peace is it not worth buying?
An effort for peace for future life
An effort for peace just to say goodnight

Do what you can
When you see a wrong try to mend it
A little is a lot
Show that what it means to be human
Show them how it feels to care
Do what you can
Do it

Its not what we are Its what we do
By what we do we shall remembered
Live by the sword die by the sword
We take the word around the world
We’re all to blame we’re all the same
In fact, false truths, in mirrored lives
You see through me I see through you
But underneath you’re just like me

Never Think
by

Rob Pattinson

Yes this is the guy from Twilight and there isn't actually a lot of his musical work out there as i think his intentions are more focused upon acting.. His voice just mezmerises me, it's absolutely gorgeous. I heard someone say that he reminds them of Ray LaMontagne. . .

A bit hard to understand, but i love how it just flows out of him.. makes him.. unique.
