There have been several articles in recent weeks about major events like the bombings in London.

When you see a thread titled 'bombing in London' you don't know if it's an old one or if there's been a new attack.

I think dates should be placed in the title of major news articles like that so people don't panic when an older thread gets bumped back up to the top of the forum.

well...

you could always look at the date it was posted...

EDIT:

for example:

look above my "well..."

it says: "posted on 30-7-2005 at 06:20 AM Post Number: 1575682 (post id: 1597575)"

It doesn't show the date the article was posted when looking at the recent posts in the main forum. It only gives the time of the last post, you actually have to go into the thread to see if there has been a new attack or if it's just a bumped thread.

It's a good suggestion.

I don't think we're gonna have any law on that passed anytime soon, though.
