I like German cars, but they just worry about luxury too much. the lancer evolution, which is only $30k, will whip just about any German car, excluding a $150k tt 996 porsche.

Misti power rocks! Amazing amounts of power can be extracted from the humble 4g63 (2lt 4-cylinder DOHC 16v intercooled turbo).

With little more than a turbo/boost, filter, exhaust and fuel upgrade a healthy 350-400hp is obtainable like taking candy from a baby.

I'd take my old 79 chevy / possy rear/ pick up (bored out 350) over the expensive sleak new cars anyday.

And on other thing....to anyone who may be lurking (I just KNOW a member of this board wouldn't do such a dumba$$ thing).....the next cutsie little sports car that gets on my butt behind the dump truck and has the audacity to hollar about a scratch in the paint is gonna get a load of gravel dumped through their rag top.
