I found this quite funny, I decided to look back at what computers were like during the 80s and early 90s and I found a few things humorous things.

Microsoft ad from 15 years ago: media.ebaumsworld.com...

Internet During the Early 90s a CBC special report: media.ebaumsworld.com...

Read the thousands of textfiles posted on the Internet, back in the mid 80s early 90s on the internet was called the BBS (bulliten board service) which was like a big p2p service. Check out what .txt files people were sharing back then, there was no photo sharing, or audio sharing back then (only MIDIs): www.textfiles.com...

I like the Apple Macintosh 1984 ad a lot better than the first Windows ad.

The BBS back then was a massive forum not unlike ATS and BTS. The had User Fiction, UFO, Conspiracy, etc, very interesting what people were posting at the time. You can view the files (post) by categories on the link to textfiles.com, there is a weath of information that can be a useful resource today. The ads made computers look like the best thing since sliced bread. I laugh every time I see them.

Here is a funny one someone put up years ago on a BBS on what to do if you encounter a MIB (UFO Fed). www.textfiles.com...
