Can anyone have these experiences or are they merely limited to people with "special" abilities?

Anyone can do it, if one takes the time to develop one's mental and spiritual quadrants accordingly - it requires patience, and lots of it. And this experience was purely accidental in the first place.

It depends on which "God" you're referring to, or if you just mean the Universe. If you mean the Christian God specifically, then: wrong. If that's the only way it is possible, then it's impossible for me to have done it

I'll give a couple of techniques that *I* use at one point. You can also look for "Buddhist meditation" and "Taoist meditation" on Google - you don't have to be of either belief system to use their techniques, either.
