Well that picture of the X-32 isn't a fair look at the aircraft. I think it's an interesting jet, rather than ugly.

Now this Nimrod is one ugly airplane.

First up: That JSF is fake.

The worlds ugliest plane is the Vulcan, looks like Rodan from Godzilla:

the Mig 21 fishbed. just dont like the way it looks. it dont look like it has a nose, of course back than the plane designs had planes with no nose.

Military planes don't have to look pretty. The form of the plane follows it's function.

I always thought the Vampyr was an ugly and strange looking plane

The Gotha-Kalkert 430 was first built in late 1944. 12 examples were built before the end of WWII.

I'm going to have to say the (previously posted) Israeli Phalcon AWACS is instead one of the most ugly planes I've ever seen.
