Now I've tried that, sublingual "under the tongue", during a massive anxiety attack, and it didn't do much for me. There's no substitute for Valium!

Ativan is supposed to be much stronger than Valium, and it is for me. But I think everyone reacts a bit differently to these related drugs, so YMMV.
