Which hair band was the corniest, most laughable in your opinion??

Hands down it has to be Europe! Can anyone top that?

I think that Stryper would beat Europe by a mile as far as Buttrock bands are concerned.

"Buttrock" is funny as hell!!! C'mon Jonna, there's nothing laughable about Stryper.

Surely "hair bands" must be divided into sub-genres:

* hair metal
* no hair
* hair apparent.

Ok. The difference between the bands mentioned can be divided best between bands that seem to take themselves seriously (Stryper, Britney Fox, etc) and the ones that appear to just be having fun with a goof (Poison, etc).

I mean come on! Does something like Stryper really expect that they are going to be taken seriously!?! It's not that I like the other bands, but atleast they seem like a bunch of humorous and fun-loving guys.

I'm going to change my original choice, Vixen was the corniest hair band of all-time:

I heard one of their songs and I actually kept singing it in my head. My feelings of guilt and shame were almost more than I could bear.

The real kicker would be if you said they were an all-guy band.....

Alas....I think the only fashion item not "in" during the 80s for men in hair bands was a dress....everything else was a go.....lol
