Please, please do a remake of Casino Royale.
A faithful adaptation of the first Bond book ever, to wipe from my mind the awful travesty that is David Niven as Sir James Bond in a "spoof"
(apparently they're funny) with five directors and no clue. Not even Woody Allen and Peter Sellers can save that film.:bnghd:
And Charlie isn't a remake.
Do you complain every time Kenneth Branagh "re-makes" a Shakespeare adaptation?
Henry V, complete Hamlet
Look at Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, that was a re-make.
How many times has Little Women been filmed?
And And Now for Something Completely Different was nothing of the kind, it was the Pythons simply refilming the Flying Circus' greatest hits. Still
damn funny.
Films that deserve re-makes:
The Swarm
Independence Day
I paid good money to see that at a midnight screening, an hour after I got out of a screening of Trainspotting. I've never
been so disappointed by the cinema in my life. Except when I paid good money to see Batman and Robin.
Any successful film in a foreign language. 'Cause apparrently yanks are illiterate and can't read subtitles.:bash:
