There is something that might be able to put this whole "glass in the sky" stuff to rest.

The space elevator.

I still have my doubts about how they are going to build this thing, but by the looks of how fast the technology for it is being developed, they might go ahead with it. It will er.... might be constructed in 15 years time. They set a due date for it at, April 12, 2018.

Remember this thing is strait up and will be stationary going hundreds of miles into space.

www.liftport.com...

In a few years we might be able to put this thing to rest.

Have you ever hit the brakes while driving a car, or accelerated fast? Has your body ever lunged forward or backward when braking or accelerating? The way you're talking you sound as if you've never even been in a car.

Do you know anything about G-forces??

Astronauts get gradually accelerated to those speeds, therefor the g-forces are not so extreme. G-forces are only major a factor during acceleration, deceleration and lateral movement. If they are cruising at 25,000 mph there wouldn't be much g-force since speed is constant.
