That's an interesting idea to use a chip to help with seizures. I hope it works, but it reminds me of a Michael Crichton book I read, called
"Terminal Man". They stick a chip in a guy's brain for similar reasons, only it didn't work out so well. (I won't say exactly what happens
because I don't want to spoil the book for anyone) A completely unexpected but not unrealistic scenario occurs, and they spend the rest of the book
dealing with it.
