Explosions kill 20 in Egypt Resorts (Update), page 1

Shortly after One a.m. this morning several blasts rocked Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh Resort-Area. One man reported four cars had blown up while other residents reported two other explosions 15 minutes later in another area.

Thirty people died and about 100 were wounded when four car bombs rocked the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and hotels at nearby Naama Bay on Saturday, officials said.

A police source said four car bombs appeared to have exploded -- one near the Sharm el-Sheikh bazaar, and three in Naama Bay, at a tourist bazaar, the Ghazala Hotel and the Moevenpick Hotel.

An emergency services official in Sharm el-Sheikh, contacted by telephone, said the explosions killed 20 people and wounded about 100 others.

The blasts caused pandemonium as people rushed to go home for fear of more bombs, said one resident who asked not to be named.

I am not sure just what to make of this, but given the recent chatter that warned of attacks on Egypt this could be the start.

Boy this has turned out worse then I had expected given the latest news.

Some times the term Gloom and Doom fits and in the area of terroists worldwide gloom and doom does fit.

I feel it will never be stopped but perhap's in time controlled to a small degree? Will it get worse before it get's better, worse meaning mega-kill through quiet killers such as biological or dirty weapons?

Key factors..well you have to watch key factors or your labelled racist or religion pounding.. but really what do you have to go on without looking at the above two areas?

Should something super major occur how will retaliation occur? Can a country be put to task for boring the terrorist?

Perhap's we're in a new era and the war on terrorism cannot be fought in conventional terms, or mayhap's No Pre-Emptive terms at all?

Is terrorism fought by reaction as it may be all there is?
