Of course these government files are trying to clear the CIA. They aren't going to come out and say "Oh by the way, yeah we killed JFK."

Actually in one file is does exactly that.
Ex-CIA Agent Claims He Bought Rifles for Kennedy Killing (Reuter Article), 0.12Mb (TIFF 6.0 FORMAT)
A former CIA operative come forward and says that he supplied (4) rifles to the shooters.
He said at the time he was not aware that they were going to be used to assassinate the president.
