The Nortern Territory (Aus) has declassified documents dating back 30 years that detail UFO sightings by RAAF personell and others.
NT X-Files exposed
By Eric Tlozek
July 21, 2005
From:
SECRET documents released by the Northern Territory Government reveal a mass of UFO sightings across the Top End, many of them unexplained.
The documents - declassified after 30 years under lock and key - detail a history of UFO activity across the Territory by a wide range of
'sighters', including RAAF crews and weather forecasters.
The files were classified and only became available to the public from the National Archives in Darwin, after 30 years.
One sighting, by the crew of a RAAF Hercules in Darwin in 1968, also appeared on radar, although no known aircraft was identified in the area at the
time.

years.
This isnt a news submission BTW just a normal thread so if anyone wants to do theyre own News Sub your more than welcome.

not all ufos are alien based, some of them are spyplanes etc, they cant just release that info when it can be used for war or other reasons....

Wasn't a lot of info "declassified" or more precisely abandoned after the fall of the Soviet union?

they say seeing is believing. this is just another indicator. its all coming together. hopefully it will be over shorty, but ladies and gents, the
end is near.
its really theatrical, to study history and watch it all unfold, even in my own age! ME! i get to watch! the drumroll is on.

I heard about this in the main news on BBC Radio 1 this morning. This is the first time I think ive ever heard the BBC report anything to do with
UFOs, so perhaps the media has been 'ordered' to begin reporting these events to prepare us for full disclosure? Very exciting times we are living
in right now...

Thematrix I agree. When the other countries started to come foward I did not think much of it. Now it would seem something is definitely in the
works, I am sure of it now. This is exciting.

Currently advertising, for an up and coming "Today Tonight" story. A Melbourne, based (Australia) T.V. current affairs show, this coming monday. Is
a story about the release of "Secret Government Files on U.F.O's". I take it that this story is the one relating to U.F.O's in our Northern
Territory, already being mentioned above . It is no secret that we have the "Pine Gap" listening facility, this is an aleged joint U.S./Australia
run government listening facility in the N.T.. After the "30 years" secrecy label being removed, does anyone out there believe they're going to
give this country any new snippets of useful information? U.F.O's have been reportedly seen around this facility over the years by many locals. Can
anyone shed some more light on this topic?

"It's for National Security reason"....

I thought NT was a state? Didn't know it had its own government. I guess I'll hold judgement till I see if they reveal anything vaguely
interesting...

You know, for a while I was a little skeptical of everyone talking about how all the movies and new tv shows were leading up to something, even in
light of the Brazil disclosure. I mean, think about it. In the last few months even mainstream television has been paying a little more attention to
UFO's, even if it's with a jaded eye. As bad as it may have been, how often does someone the likes of Peter Jennings give the subject the time of
day, especially when there's more "newsworthy" material out there? Discovery had it's Alien Planet show, which wasn't terribly spectacular, but
it's something at least. And didn't Larry King have some kind of show on it?
I know none of those were massively ground-breaking segments in their own right, but it seems there's something curious going on. Then again, I
don't watch much tv, so the perceived frequency increase may be nothing at all; those kind of shows may happen regularly, but I've never noticed
something like that.
I've got a potential scenario in mind; what do you guys think: someone in whatever higher echelon that's running things catches wind that other
countries are getting tired of keeping these secrets. They can't stop the other countries, but they don't want the American public to start asking
for any more information than was already released through FOIA. So they start backing these shows that make UFOlogists look like a bunch of loonies.
Just a thought.

im amazed that this thread isnt super big time news
they are only disclosing Classified UFO documents!!!
if UFOs were just our imagination there wouldnt BE any classified documents! Think About That!
BUT...since there is actually classified documents; we know now beyond a doubt; there is more to it than "hallucinations" and "fantasys"
this is direct evidence of a UFO coverup
so what their documents dont prove anything else
the pure FACT they had Documents Classified Secret; that dealt with UFO incidents; proves they were covering UFOs up
why isnt this headline news? probably because this is only the Begining of Disclosure
this process may take a few decades...
what the future holds no body knows
