It appears the slug-like creature found living at the bottom of a Swedish lake shares its ancestry with people...

Nature just loves her monkey wrenches...

IMHO,
I think that "we" are going to find out that "we" are similar to almost everything.....I'd almost be willing to bet that in 50 years+/-, that the Theory of Evolution (TOE) comes under some major questions if not already....But the more science understands mDNA and the human genome, watch......

There will be some startling revelations that will be discovered....

I agree Seekerof! This proposed Darwinian (sp?) TOE has seemed flimsy to me since I first heard about it.
