Our Close Encounters

I Just had an Idea! Let's all share a close encounter that we've had. (BTW, I'm on sleep dep. and bored).

Mine is from about a year ago. I was out at Sand Dunes National park after sunset one day, and anyone who knows Sand dunes, knows it's in the San Luis Valley, and anyone who knows UFOs knows the San Luis Valley.

Basically, I was out there, looking for UFOs, believe it or not, and i got lucky. I was on my way back in, when I saw a multicolored flashing light move in from i believe the north, slowly at first, and then rocket away really fast. Not too impressive, i know, but that's all i got. I hope everyone elses is better.

Hey, that sounds a good idea! I just have sightings though.
Who has had close encounters?

Technically, a sighting is a close encounter of i believe the first kind. so, you have had a close encounter.

Close encounter of the _____ kind.

1st = sighting
2nd = communication
3rd = capture or being captured (or otherwise very close quarters)
4th = I think this one has to do with mental something or other... like having aliens project their thouhgts into your mind.
