A new $6.9 million contract will install ca's eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware software on 4 million computers used by US Defense employees, including home computers of employees who work from home.The contract also provides Defense agencies 24 hour, 7-day a week online support for guarding against online compute virus threats.

Something like this has been done before. All DOD personal are given access to free ant-virus software from Mcaffe and Norton, among others.
