Who in your opinion was the greatest military leader of all times?
Here are a few ideas:
Gaius Iulius Caesar
Charlemagne
William the Conqueror
Frederick Barbarossa
Richard the Lionheart
Philip Augustus
Saladin
Genghis Khan
Horatio Nelson
Chester Nimitz
You forgot Philip of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great. He was a guy with one eye that managed to form up an army from the relitivly poor north
of Greece and unify it with the south through force.
I would go with Alexander, if reports are accurate, he was able to bring out the best in his troops and was able to defeat forces who outnumbered him
due to training and tactics
I think that Alexander the great was the greatest military leader of all time, followed by Ganghis Kahn, simply because they were not interested in
just tmilitary things, and each made the places they conquered better alot of the time, and alexander let the peoples of the places he conquered keep
there beliefs and didnt try to convert them.
