Two more bad guys out of the picture. Its too bad they will end up at Club Gitmo and not someplace less pleasant.

"CNN) -- U.S.-led coalition forces have captured two alleged leaders of the insurgent group al Qaeda in Iraq, including a man suspected in the death of an Egyptian envoy, an American military spokesman said Thursday.

Troops caught Khamis Farhan Khalaf abd al Fahdawi, also known as Abu Seba, on Saturday in Ramadi, west of Baghdad, after intelligence led them there.

Abu Seba reportedly is a senior lieutenant for` Jordanian-born militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and is suspected in this month's attacks on Bahraini and Pakistani diplomats and the killing of Ihab al-Sherif, who came to Iraq to be Egypt's ambassador.

Al-Sherif was kidnapped in Baghdad on July 2, and the Egyptian government confirmed his death five days later. (Full story)

In addition, forces detained Abdulla Ibrahim Muhammed Hassan al Shadad, also known as Abu Abdul Aziz, on Sunday in Baghdad. He reportedly is the leader of al-Zarqawi's operations in the Iraqi capital and a key officer for the insurgent group..."

If you see how many "high ranking people", "leaders", "officers" and "top al-quada persons" they aprehended so far. I'm starting to wonder how big al-quada really is.

Starts to look like its not a terrorist group but a pritty frigin huge army, strange though that they have no known established bases and HQ's ...

skippytjc: its good that they catch these guys, but if each and every one of them are high ranking or leaders ... yeah right. Just more propaganda imho.

And about Gitmo, please, be my guest, go stay there for a week or 2 as a suspected terrorist, lets see how "club" like you find it.

If the evidence against them is exists, they should be convicted for their crimes and punished by rule of law(asif that'll ever happen). If there isn't any evidence, then we just have 2 more poor sods getting their asses locked up at Gitmo indefinatly without trials.
