Biomagnetic therapy = magnetic theory?

Topic started on 19-8-2003 @ 12:28 AM by MKULTRA

What do you all think of the theory surrounding magnetic therapy? Do you think magnets can help you? Have they? What do you understand to be the process operating on you, if you use them?

In an uncritical August 11, 1997, World News Tonight report on "biomagnetic therapy," a physical therapist explained that "magnets are another form of electric energy that we now think has a powerful effect on bodies." A fellow selling $89 magnets proclaimed: "All humans are magnetic. Every cell has a positive and negative side to it."

I heard a respected doctor on the radio the other day talking about this. She said that although there is no proven medical reason why it works,in some cases it does have a noticable effect. She recomended giving it a try.

Buyer beware. Not all products are created equal. That's probably why some people claim magnets don't work while others say they do.
