Should the UN ever wake up and decide to teach Mugabe a lesson what would you consider a good battel plan would be?

To be perfectly honest, waiting for the UN to take the lead on this issue is just on the sane side of "insane". I would think the best hope would be for the OAS to try and get some of the major world powers engaged. Sadly I don't think much will be done.

So long as Mugabe sticks to abusing his own people and doesn't attack his neighbors, I don't expect to see much done about him.

AFAIK there are no signifigant oilfields in Zimbabwe.

Very True!

I must admit that Mugabe does know just where and when to push what buttons.

Just when you think he is going to do something to provoke the international community he backs off and does everything to please the rest of the world.
Once the dust settles he gets up to his tricks again.
