Erm, Spain backed out, AceOfBase, you know, withdrew troops and all.
Surprised you forgot being that you made such a big deal out of it.

They were hit before they pulled out remember?
This latest attack was not an Islamic attack, it was ETA.

War on terrorism eh?

How come you haven't hunted down the KKK?

We have and continue to hunt them down every time they rear their ugly head.
The KKK is effectively neutered compared to it's activity back in the heyday of the civil rights movement.

If you decide to argue the point please start another thread so as not to derail this one, and send me the link, I'll be glad to discuss this further.

As the glove grips tighter I belive that the oppressed, and the ones that precive that they are oppresed, will fight back stronger and with greater passion.
In this way I think the terrorist and the conspericy theorist are similar.

The longer this war goes the more bombing we will have, and the more bombings we have the longer this "war" will be waged.
chicken or egg, anyone?

Gezzz...what happened to the war on terrorism buddy?

We're in the War on Terror together, for sure...I'm just saying that America didn't cause this problem and can't fix it by changing its foreign policy as was suggested.

djohnsto is totaly correct, this is in no way the US' fault, nor Bushes.

It is our European leaders that are to blame. They chose to get us involved in these "wars". Before we became involved, did anything like this happen?. Now we are feeling the repercussions.

Agreed, the UK started it by initiating and backing the recognition of Israel in occupied territory, now the UK sit on the shoulder of the biggest financer of Israel, the US.

The attrocities that occur almost on a daily basis on the Palestinian people has been long ignored, and will continue be so until it no longer suits the Wests purpose.

We won't find a solution until we address the cause.

Souljah, you cannot "create" something that already existed and existed long before the "war on terrorism."

Do you require proof?

Theo van Gogh being killed had absolutely nothing to do with our aid in Iraq or Afghanistan whatsoever. And the Hofstad group was not preparing attacks because of this either. (remember them threaten to kill Hirschi Ali as well, because of the things she said about the Islamic culture in relation to women?)

All the talk about whos "fault" it is is pretty useless to begin with. It is very obvious that this is the fault of those moronic terrorists, who allowed themselves to be brainwashed into thinking their creator wants them to destroy their own and other peoples lives.

What djohnsto was saying, is that this is a European problem that should be handled by European leaders, and that even though similar problems occur in the US, Bush changing policies has little effect on the problems in Europe.
