I agree New Zealand would not be easily persuaded unless during a time of crisis. Their defence forces are not much to write home about these days.
...yeah...I can see your point there. Our Army, particularly the SAS, are very well trained and formidable in battle...always have been...being crazy
kiwis and all

But we are small...and certainly don't possess the firepower of larger armies.
That said...I would still pity any country that laid a foot on NZ soil as an invader.
Think about it...NZ is a country that has a very high percentage of people who are familiar with the bush, who know it well and who are also
experienced hunters. As such...they possess scoped, high-powered, highly accurate rifles and know exactly how to use them...to stalk silently, to take
the shot, make the kill and to blend back into the bush again.
NZ is a country whose terrian is mountainous and forest-ladden...many areas of dense bush and hidden valleys and the like...much of which is not
accessable to vehicles, and shrouded from the air by tree canopy.
Any invader would effectively be operating on foot...and would be walking into a Snipers Nest.
I am under no illusions that NZ would successfully defend against a large country's Armed Forces...but I'm also confident the body count on their
side will be high enough to make them feel pain for ever inch of our soil they took.
Peace,
ALIEN
