John Ashcroft would be a great pick for Supreme Court. The guy is a solid conservative and a former Attorney General.

Roy Moore also has great conservative ideals and also would be a great pick.

With 1 opening now and soon to be another, Bush has got to use his mandate and get conservative justices on the Supreme Court.

For you lefties it's OK to bash Ashcroft and Moore, but please give likely alternatives that you would like to see on the bench.

I think anyone giving inputs about judges, from either side, is just regurgitating party lines. The only true trackables for us laymen are the negatives - for a judge - that means predisposition, a bias of perspective.
These two men are easily discounted thru that base assessment.

Roy Moore is too liberal. How about the preacher from Footloose?

He had great conservative ideals so he'd obviously be a great pick for Supreme Court Justice of the United States of America.

Or Bin Laden. He's pretty darn conservative. I also hear he's available. Still.

Isn't Ashcroft the guy who covered up the half naked statues in the Great Hall of the Department of Justice?

What a clown

How about Ann Coulter? She's a stauch conservative and a Constitutional attorney...I bet she'd make a great Supreme Court justice to replace O'Connor.

How about the porn star Bush, Mr. morality himself, recently dined with for money.
www.worldnetdaily.com...
Meanwhile, White House spokesman Scott McClellan yesterday refused to answer questions about the attendance of the porn star and her boss at the presidential dinner.

Just thought this should be updated, with the opening of another position on the Supreme Court.

John Ashcroft or Roy Moore still would be great picks for the opening.
