I'm not really afraid of the dark or anything, I dont think atleast. But in my back room at night whenever I go in there I always have a feeling that
I need to get out of the room as fast as I can. This only happens when its night and when the lights are off, but sometimes I get the feeling even
when the lights are on. Even when I'm in my kitchen I have a bad feeling (The kitchen and the backroom are next to eachother) Like I'm being watched
from inside the living room. the house isnt really that old, I dont think anybody died in it (Expect for the previous owners pet cat) But I do know
there were murders in the swamps in my area, and where I live is where the swamps used to be. Is it possible something is there, or am I just a big
wimp? Its only in that room, its a strange, sickening feeling in my chest, like its hard to breathe and my throat is all heavy and sunken. The
feelings clear up the moment I leave the kitchen and back room and get to the living room. Has anybody ever had this kind of feeling or has an
explanation>

Thats exactly how I feel, it's no other room except the back room, and sometimes the kitchen because its open to the back room. But do you think its
some kind of paranormal/demonic/spiritual thing or just a psychological thing? I mean its not a scary room, its a really nice room with a stereo, some
plants, a pool table, and three windows to the backyard, and a door to the backyard.

Well, I have a thread on here right now concerning some odd things happening in my house (which I haven't updated in a while). Now mind you, no bad
feelings in my house, just odd occurrences. You can read my thread here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
I will be updating again soon. I have new information on my situation.
Concerning the bad feelings, I do know and have experienced what you are talking about in another house. It was the house my parents owned while I
was a teenager. There are a couple of members that I have privately shared what happened in that house, but would prefer not to in public. If you
are interested, please u2u. BUT, suffice it to say, I know exactly the feeling you are describing. When you are leaving the room, you are leaving
with the feeling that the devil is on your heels...been there.
I wonder if the connection is to the backyard...the backdoor...and the windows that look out on the yard. Just a thought.

Well I dunno it may have to do with the backyard, not sure. The backyard is a simple, small fenced area with a little fort from my younger childhood
days with swings and stuff (I'm 16 right now btw.) Theres a tool shed, a tiny patio, three trees and a garden. The area used to be a swamp, theres
been rumors and stories of people throwing bodies into the swamp during the 1800s. I've had some strange occurances in my house, but nothing in my
back room. my bedroom, which is not near the back room at all, has been a epicenter of wierd vibes, not threatening, but almost motherly vibes. I
remember I had my door open one night, it was like 3:00am and I thought I saw my mother walk passed the door. I got up but didnt see her, only to see
she was asleep. I've also felt something sit on the side of my bed, and my bed sheets get tighter , as if someone was tucking me in. Its a very warm,
happy feeling I enjoy. Whenever I was little and I was afraid of the dark and such the previous wierd occurance I told you about (the bed and the
sheets getting tighter) happened, and I would suddenly not feel that scared of the dark anymore. But its like its the exact polar opposite in the back
room. Its only at night, and happens often when only one of the lights are on, or no lights are on. Its like theres something there, watching, trying
to get me, and I MUST run out before it gets me

When I was a kid I always had this feeling that if I didn't RUN down the stairs something would grab me from the bathroom. (it was at the top of the
stairs-- and for some reason I never could go in that bathroom with the light off)

I know the feeling. Sometimes it can just be a feeling of not being alone (which can be erri enough). Your not a whimp. Feelings are never wrong -
justified or not.
Is there anything there as in ghost or spirit? I'll MP you.

I definitely think there is a reason for your fear. You probably sense the presence of someone who has passed on. They probably mean you no harm, but
because you sense a certain strangeness in the situation you are afraid. Fear of the unknown is a normal human reaction. I remember when my dad was
stationed in Montana we lived in a house that had a basement and me and my older brother had our bedroom down there. I was ok as long as he was there,
but if I had to go down there alone for something I got out of there as quickly as possible even though nothing strange actually happened while I was
there.

I think WolfofWar may have centered in the source of this feeling. Hopefully he will share in this thread.

Well I found out why I'm getting these feelings. I never had them before I got the pool table. my father got it for free when a man killed himself,
and my father was helping a friend do a job of clearing out all the furniture, and they could take anything they wanted. Well the guy whom killed his
self had 8 adopted children he molested and raped, to keep them quiet he bought them things. One of the kids cracked and told a teacher, the guy found
out and hung himself. I think I may be the only one that senses this because it may just be directed towards me. I'm 16, around the age of some of
the adopted children he molested. I dont know if its just that I'm sensing all the powerful negative energy of what happened to those kids, or his
ghost followed the pool table. I wanna get a tape recorder, do some EVPs, and I'm buying a disposiable camera to take pictures of the room, maybe
something will come up.

but...its a pool table...its a free...kickass pool table....Aslong as no pool balls start flying into walls, I think I'll keep it..but maybe I can
try to put the spirit at rest or something. For some reason I think maybe I'm just sensing the negative energy, not a ghost ,because we havent seen
anything.

keep the pool table. Learn to live with the beast. He sounds like he was a coward in life so im sure he's still a coward in the afterlife. Dont be
afraid, if you firmly beleive that your mind is more powerful than a sick cowardly rapist, then you should be fine.

Maybe you can have a priest come over and bless the pool table... well if it doesn't work you'll always have someone to shoot pool with... j/k.

You have to be careful about taking possession of anything used. The vibrations of the previous owner(s) or users can attach to the item. If the
vibrations aren't good, this can cause trouble for the present owner. The best thing to do is to find a way to clear the item of the bad vibes or
just get rid of it. A famous item that had this effect was the hope diamond i think.

I agree. It isn't. There's something else to it. And it's not the man that killed himself either. Yeah, the guy was bad news, but I feel as though
he has moved on. I think what is there has been there a long while, and you for some reason have just recently opened up to the point that you are
realizing it is there.
Keep us posted.

When I first looked into this I picked up on a girl who's father died after a fall. The fall was caused by him slipping on what I think are beads.
This girl/her father have nothing to do with the house or anything in the house, but for some reason this girl is concerned about another fall and has
been trying to warn to turn the lights on and not to fall. Usualy after finding out what the cause is it will just go away. Apparently this has not
went away I gather?
