Does anyone know anything about cars or car parts?

I may be buying a chrome bumper for a Toyota 4Runner SR5 (1999), and the websites I'm looking at have all said that they are only about $115-$140. My friend, however told me that they will cost about $800. I am also noticing that on all the websites it says that the chrome bumper is without sports. So my questions are:

a. Was my friend grossly mistaken about a chrome bumper for that car being $800?
b. Do they make chrome bumpers with sports?
c. If so, how much more would it cost?

Dealer price, or new is about $800. Tho often now with the internet you can easily get parts from junk yards for a fraction of the cost.

Now I did some quick searching, and have no clue what they mean by a bumper with a sports pack. But from what I am gathering there are no Chrome bumbers for the car with a sports pack. If you REALLY want chrome with sports pack you probly have to talk with the dealer and lose an arm and leg, and still pay through the nose

I was doing searches and was able to find the bumper you wanted without sports for under $100, never got any hits for it with sports
