computer programming and the conspiracy

How many people here know how to program?

Has anyone thought of making some kind of AI conspiracy program that could draw connections and inferences from news, theories, facts, etc.? With perhaps spider crawling ability to get new info from the net. Of course you'd have to make it open source. Perhaps it would only be "guided" AI, by people.

I was thinking of doing something like this but there's no way I would go at it alone. Anyone...?

I can apply some models for mapping and logical testing but I don't write code. I hate it.

What kind of models would you use for mapping. Are you talking connectionist stuff?
