Personally, I like the Brits. I have quite a few friends here, I like to think, from across the pond. You people crack me up. I admire your inherent tenacity, too. 'Course, I may be genetically predisposed to feel this way, I am afterall, a product of the UK myself - my family line anyway (English, Irish, Scotch, Dutch, French).

Aussies are cool, too. I actually think they're the most like Americans out of all the Europeans. It's that rebelliousness and wild humour, I think.

Hey, ECK, not to ruin your day or anything, but Aussie's aren't European. I do think many, if not all of them, would be a wee bit upset at being called that. Like calling Americans Europeans, no?

Chirac did no harm. It's a joke, we're always cracking jokes about the french, and the germans, it's nice to get some back. Especially when Blair is lined up with come-backs

If the French have won more wars than us...great!...Good for France! Nations generally aren't judged only on military history. England is a great country, so is France..shame about the snails and frogs.
