Not sure where to put this ...

Ya' know .. I understand when there is a holy site on earth for the Native
Americans, or the Catholics, or the Jews, or the Muslims, (or whoever) and
people don't want those touched, not even for science or for whatever. I
understand that. But NASA and the science exploration of the comet??? I
dunno .. I suppose that if we acknowledge 'holy' places on earth and don't
touch them then we should honor that with the astrologers ... but
something inside me just won't go for it.

A Russian astrologer took legal action against NASA for compensation
Monday, claiming that the US space agency's bombardment of the Tempel
1 comet will upset her horoscope and violates her spiritual rights.

The experiment, in which NASA fired a projectile the size of a fridge at the
comet Monday, was an attack on "the holy of holies," Marina Bai's law suit
claims, according to Russian press reports. Her suit, filed at a Moscow
court, claims violation of her "life and spiritual values."

"In any case, it is obvious that elements of the comet's orbit and
associated ephemera will change after the explosion, which interferes with
my practice of astrology and deforms my horoscope," the Izvestia daily
quoted Bai as saying.

I am not an astrologer, nor am I a believer. I could be, I guess. However, at the risk of making a little extra spending cash, the idea sure beats appearing on Springer. Wish I'd have thought of it.

never did I once believe in Astrology

This individual needs a new hobby. These ancient practices need to stay in the past where they belong.
