Thanks for the links, FredT I have to point out though, that you goofed on the last link, it takes you to the FDA website, not the USAMRIID; you must have cut&pasted from the last one, which correctly goes to the FDA website. I'm going to u2u a few links I have (I think I got them from a similar post on ignorancedenied) and see if you think they are good enough to list here.

BTW, I assume you are some sort of medical professional, a doctor or nurse or psychiatrist or something? What exactly is your training in, if you don't mind me asking?

The way to find some information on medical research is still just looking through google. Most of the site you gave need fees to access the article.

I would like to recommend NewsTarget as a highly informational medical website.

Health information you're not supposed to know

Emboldened by my own experience of health transformation, I made it my life's work to explore and share the truths about nutrition, diseases, health and healing. Over the last few years, I've spent more than 5,000 hours studying the true causes of disease vs. health. I've built a massive private research library, authored more than 1,500 articles on health, interviewed today's greatest pioneers in alternative medicine, and completed dozens of books and special reports on the subject.

And through this research, I've discovered something truly astonishing: the vast majority of all diseases can be easily prevented and even cured without drugs or surgery.

The information about health that I'm revealing in these articles, reports and books is all information you're not supposed to know. Our modern medical establishment works hard to deliberately censor this information. I've learned that organized medicine simply doesn't want people to know about the free cures, the simple prevention strategies, and the zero-cost treatments that reverse chronic disease.

Why? Because our system of modern medicine thrives on sick people. Drug companies, doctors, surgeons and hospitals are all pocketing a fortune by financially exploiting sickness and disease across our population. They gain power, money and control by treating sickness, not by making people healthy. And that's why all the talk you hear about health care reform never mentions making people any healthier. It's only about shifting the responsibility of who pays for disease.

But I've got some real answers for you: answers to life-long health. Answers that can show you how to be free of disease, free of all prescription drugs, free of pain and suffering, and free of the lies and deceptions of food companies, drug companies and the whole backward system of organized medicine.

From their Declaration of Journalistic Independence page:

The Declaration of Journalistic Independence
1. No direct advertising revenues accepted. We never ask for, nor accept money to write news or product recommendations.
2. No scheduling fees or shakedowns.
3. No investments in the companies we cover.
4. No revenues from nutritional products.
5. Full disclosure of all revenue sources.
6. No selling of reader data.
7. No recommendations of products we don't genuinely like.
8. No venture capital influence.
9. No publication of known falsehoods.

Here at Truth Publishing, we believe that the only way to maintain journalistic integrity is to take corporate influence out of the equation. Take the purse strings away, and advertisers can no longer influence the content. When a publication has no advertising department, no rate card, no salespeople, and never asks companies for money, then (and only then) can it truly call itself objective and unbiased.

When you sign up for the newsletter, you also get free downloadable books with tons of great information.

NewsTarget
www.newstarget.com...

Sorry if this is long-winded but I felt that it's good to see what this site has to offer that makes it above and beyond most other medical information websites.

Thanks!

None of that changes the fact that they’re in the business of promoting “natural remedies,” so rather than being completely honest, they're going to - oh, I don’t know - PROMOTE NATURAL REMEDIES!

You don’t honestly believe that you’re getting objective information from a company that explains in no uncertain terms in their declaration of journalistic independence that they’re going to give you their unbridled opinion, do you?
